Okay, here's my MiG 15.

this is the old Monogram MiG 15 that I picked up lately on e-bay. Altogether a really good build.I've used very little filler on her and the fit is quite excellent considering that this kit was made in the late 70s.

BTW, The wings have since been attached and I'll start the foiling job probably tonight.

Welcome aboard Pat. The general Idea behind a GB is to post pics of your progress or at least give an update on how everything is coming out. BTW it's good to see another ship builder in here.

Tony, Take as long as you need. This one won't end until December 31st.

Everyone else. Y'all are pretty impressive with what y'all are posting pic wise. Some of the kits done here are real works of art. I'll post some pictures later today of my progress so far. For those of you who are finished, let me know and I'll start making the changes to the roster. same also if you're going to be doing a second or third kit.

I have started the Lightning, parts are detached from the sprue, and some of the raised surface detail has bee nremoved. I've also cut off the blanks for the intake and jet pipes, as they only allow a couple of MM before being blanked off, which looks pretty ordinary.
I probably won't progress this one too quickly for a couple of weeks as I finish a couple of models for another GB.
Cheers
Tony Mollica

I'm just taking it one GB at a time.

Great Progress, everyone. I see the Arms race is going along nicely. Say, that gives me any Idea. We could tally completed Soviet and Nato kits, and keep a running commentaryb on the state of the Cold War.

Looks good Mark. I start foiling the MiG tonight. Hopefully I won't screw it up too badly.

Finally started messing with my F-102. This kit represents a couple of firsts for me. I'm hoping that I'll use a lot of AB on this one as I am having trouble making the brushes work for me. This will be only the second time I've used any PE. So this ought to be fun.

Nice Tankergeoff. While you got the airbrush out, spray some more on that T-35 that's trying to hide in the background. hehe Thumbs Up [tup]

Hi,
I'd like to join, if I may. I plan to do a 1/72 BAC Lightning F2a with Dk Green uppersurfaces, natural metal undersurfaces, as operated in West Germany in the earlier 70s.
I'll base it on the old (1971 vintage) Hasegawa Lightning F6 kit, convert it to an F2a, (sounds great but it's really easy), and use the decals from the old Matchbox kit.

I should confess that I'm not really doing it for the GB, I was going to do it anyway.

Cheers
Tony Mollica

Not dead here either. I'm still planning on building a Czech T-55 in a wargames training camo scheme. It will be louder than a hawaiian shirt. I hope to start building it later this month.

Hi everyone! I just dropped by to say hello and see what was up. Wouldn't you know it, I missed Comrade Sergei's May Day parade! DOH!! At least you posted highlights for us, Sergei. I've "dusted off" the Monogram B-36 and it's ready and waiting. first, I need to tie up some loose ends and then I'll be off and running. Later...

Not very vocal in here eh?? Theres always more chatter when GB's are starting up. not when they are actually going though, oh well.

That is a cool decal Skarpotchi, can't wait to see it on the 101's.

Here are my updates: My kilo class sub is done. There is supposed to be a very fine white stripe between the red and black but that is just not gonna happen.

Got styrene fins on my nike-hercules.
