Thanks for the praise. There are some things I screwed up and noticed some paint that left the one strap inside the cockpit on the top-side pic, fixed that. One or two of the trumpets wandered off their allignment a bit, but chatted to a friend who told me not to do all at once, but one or two at a time. Last, but worst - a heads-up for anybody doing this in future. What's the thing about dry-fitting?! I did not do a complete dry run as some guys tend to do. And it bit me on the rear suspension. Even though all is perfectly allined, etc, the wheels don't quite touch the ground! So specifically if you're doing this kit - take note and just do a check whilst you can still drill new holes! The wheels are very touch-and-go on the real deal as is, with the aero curtains, so getting the offset of the holes ever-so-slightly wrong when molding, can cause this. Maybe it was rectified in later batches...
Dustin, the start date of the GB is a bit down the line. Finishing up final decalling on a MotoGP bike as well, should be done withing the next couple of days. So a bit early to start in the DBR9, it will have to wait a bit. I will keep a space on the bench for it, though - either building ours together or as part of the GB.
But your American ears will like to hear I am contemplating giving Sam Hornish's 2002 Panther Racing Dallara a go. (43rd as well.) So maybe you can help me there to start. Which yellow will be most appropriate between TS16 and TS47. From what I see on telly and pics, I am leaning towards TS47 (chrome yellow from Tamiya).
