OUTSTANDING!!!

Seriously, that has got to be one of the finest Tomkittys I have ever seen.  The weathering looks spot-on to me, with it's dingy- touched up look.  I am quite envious, as your skills are most impressive!  I humbly bestow upon this build the Order of the Three Thumbs (O.T.T.)

Now that is what it be about! ( Playing , "Ride into the Danger Zone " Very loudly!)  The paint job is extremely convincing! Felix the cat is cool! I may have missed it but did you put any history of the AC up prior? Such a fine jet now settling into it's place in history.

Pirate [oX)] Yer work be good....... maybe too good as the CAG shall expect all the more from us swabs! I especially like der fact that there be an extra seat for a pirate lass to tag along! Their beauty being almost as equal to yer fine creation!

Time to Party I'm calling my Tomcat done. The kit fought me every step of the way and while I am still not completely happy with it, but then again are we ever completely happy with a finished project if we were there would never be any more room for improvement. It is presentable.  I didn't use all the aftermarket stuff or all the PE stuff with the kit but IT IS DONE!

Arrrg!Pirate [oX)] No wonder the Xo is such a hard mistempered fellow if it be that cold in Wisconsin in July! Imagine the weather come January? Me thinks we should take the ship on a southward carribean cruise to thaw him out and warm up the cheerleaders. Here's hoping he ne'er lets the rum keg run dry as he may freeze solid! Come to think of it a passage to somewhere exotic may be in order. It be told there are lands full of wenches and rum to be had for the asking and with the price of gas sailing a pirate ship be the way to go! Thank ye much Xo for the rations and the scenery!

Conspicuous in his absense is Long John Bondoman. Hmmmm LtCdr Nam is building and posting pics and me supervisory peer has disappeared! The smell of foul play reeks thru the flatulence! How many souls have ye sent to Davy Jones LtCdr Nam? How much horror are we to face? More build pics I fear! The thought be as unseemly as the cause. Another tot and then another still. Al right one more if ye insist......... my the crew be looking fine as ever must be the rum goggles!Make a Toast [#toast]

Now that I got me sea legs I finally understand what the CAG means by a FINE crew!

LOL, aye- working the weekend shift ashore!  Looks like the ship is in proper order, and I happened across a hidden barrel o' rum so there be plenty!  Also managed to find some good, aged root beer for the younguns so nobody shall feel left out.  Cheers to you all, I salute everyone of you!  The friendly banter found upon these pages makes for great laughs, and some interesting dialog.  Where the heck do you fellas come up with it?  You lads are a hoot! YAYYYYYYY I finally got my VMA-214 Harrier decals!!! In an Airfix GR.7 that I got on ebay. Now I almost have the history of the Blacksheep. Does anyone know what they used after the F4U-4, before they got skyhawks???? Still waiting on my PE set for the 'bag'. Whilst I wait, I think I might just start on the Italeri 1/72 F4U-4 in VMA-214 Blacksheep markings during the Korean conflict. I have started on a DC-6 for the Firebomber GB, so now will officially join the Corsair GB as well.

Cheers, Richie

Aye Raider ! My 4 teenage kids keep me in the musical mainstream but I have to escape aboard this fine ship in order to find some Hard tac and a spot o rum for me own belly. Never seen a bunch that could eat rations so fast and complete. Not even crumbs left for the bilge rats.

Ltcdr Namrednef gald to hear ye are constructing and creating once again! Look forward to seeing some of ye fine work. Seems we are left under ye supervision this day perhaps you can play us a tune when you be up to the task again. Sorry bout yer rum. ( Burp)  The good CAG wouldn't let me have it all. A man wise well beyond his station he is.

As far as me superviser officier he was up late we were, discussing the finer points O molasis and sugarcane. He shall be around after a brief recovery. A curse to ye for assigning me such a fine officer with a kin to train in the old proven if not politically correct ways. Not one to spare the rod should he be awakened to early I fear. A fine fellow but his geographical location makes me a kin to watch me backside. Thanks be to Neptune that his one good eye be to busy for that task.

Enough jabbor for me back to the task! Pirate [oX)]

I turns into the bunk a bit early and awakes for a head call an' find 20 new posts overnight! I approves! Keeps interest alive for those that love the smell of the plastic, Tenax, CA and paints!

LCdr Bondoman! Ye be turnin' into somethin' of a decent Ossifer!Make a Toast [#toast].....(what up w/ dat?).....Yer organization skills be bloomin'! But I knows now I was correct in assigning the scurvy sfc to be under yer then questionable judgement!Blindfold [X-)]

lewbud, red an' the rest are a rum lot.....worthy of the CAG's attention!

Now.....the XO.....me beloved superior Mr. Daywalker......he of the strange rotating workshifts (which I has a skedule of, but lose track of the weeks).....seems to be in a weekend rotation. Well, he be landlocked anyways.....but not far from the Great Lakes!

I be sittin' 'ere on the correct coast on the Sound of Longuyland....so's until we gets a conscript from Baffin Bay.....we has this hemisphere covered. Lest we forget the occasional OZer 'ere........thems and the Brits are worthy Allies. Anys I ferget.....bedamned! Remind me, dogs!

Me gots the SeaGlad lookin' like an airframe finally. More Rum!......The often stripped Sev P-35 testbed is becoming a real model that I re-test every technique on. Dauntless is getting close to fuse zip-up.......and Tex Gay's Devastator has the cockpit mostly colored.

Havin' two good arms be helpful to buildin'Big Smile [:D]

So don't Ye be aslackin'!Pirate [oX)]

Aye! Fergot to acknowledge the servicable pictures fron the dog sfc! Very good.......overall!
