Avast ye hardy's Tis time for me to give up fer the nigh and rest. Seems ye all are slumbering or passed out from the rum more likely. In the spirit of the good CAG I too visited some vintage craft near my home. A museum in Galveston Island were the planes be restored to flying condition and made original as possible save the gloss coat to save fuel and protect from the Texas Sun. Here are a few pics of me project and a Spit for the Good CAG.  I will post more later as I took several from a modelers view point but perhaps not the best photo pro! AAARG! Who had the rum key?Pirate [oX)]

The Galveston Flight Museum is the name and it seems  Bondo has changed his Avitar. HMMMMM, There are many many aircraft and models in this place. Very rare ones that some don't realize have been restored. You can even go for a ride on a B-17 G if yer be willing to pay a small treasure. I will try to get a list for you all so if you need a specific pic of an aircraft or part it is only 30 minutes away and I see them flying often.

A few more to show what I'm talking about.

Probably got carried away thar but it was cool and it is right next to a water park across the parking lot so the fam has something to do if they get bored.Thumbs Up [tup]

shh me lovelies, the officers are asleep and we can get a wee bit of cards and tabaccee. Tomorrow is Call on deck and while I'm Hell on earth, I'm bound and determined to make a right showing of determination.

All who can, and a few have, present arms and models and with the wind behind our backsides, make this the best GB. It's all aboot spirit, no?. Speakin' o'spirits, the XO holds the rum key and he demands respect.

Thanks for the invite, I do have a Spit, a Hurri and a 109 E3 in the stash. Just don't know if I'll have time to get them done.  Will keep a weather eye on it though.  Just finished 12 o'Clock High.  No scenes in the tower itself but there are a couple around it as the ground crew waits for the group to return.

Aye Aye sir. I tend to sing when I work. A throw back to me cadence callin days me thinks. Some scury scoundral slashed me airbrush hose with the cutlass and put me behind the power curve. Grieve not though as I carry a spare and ran the bugger through with me outstretched finger. By Davy Jones the Xo is correct. Another FM kit to grind me remaining teeth into as I has an affection for pain and a taste fer blood.

Fiesty as ye be I cannot finish the task in a fortnight but it will be finished! I start as I recieve the command and not before as I still can't  count past 4 with out starting over again. Spent some time researching the real thing I have braving the brazin temperatures and hot sea air!

San Francisco? Aarg! Ye must truely speak the queens language as a matter of survival! There ye be on the Pacific shore and Myself in the Gulf. We shall sail and nary a soul short of an ill wind shall stop us!Pirate [oX)]

There's a right company o' ye formed (and god I'm tryin to speak the Queens language cuz' by Gar I'm from Frisco)

It's a crew, we sail on the morning tide.

There's a right brace of Officers what'll get yer respect or I'll kil y'all!

And Dead Men don't tell no tales!

Watch assignments tomorrow:

CAG is rumoured to be coming aboard and that gangway is gonna be clean, ne'r mind last nights little incident with the carronade and the herd of pigs!

XO will need his bunk turned over and shook out and all traces of the game of Russian Roulette removed, 'specially that loser from Texas. Where the He*l is Texas, 'no ways? Put ashore in Brownsville one night an' the locals were all black 'aired sweeties.

Capt W will be aboard and you'll learn the rule of law from him, through your friendly me'ness.

LtCmr Nam has given me range to take this ship to sea and it'll be the pleasure of their Godlinesses to see it done.

I'd like the Middies to fall out in full breeched and tricorns, and to show their projects.

And the man sfmac, I nominate at the windlass to be my First Mate. He has an' understandin' of the lingo, an' an aptitude to lead the men in battle.

Play the Fife, I need a drummer boy, and by eight bells of the afternoon watch we'll hope that LtCmr Nam has the Rum Key and yer all shapely for inspection, and RATIONSMake a Toast [#toast]

Which gentleman from the great state of Texas would ye be referin to?  In answer to yer question, Texas be just to the right of center as ye move left to the left coast. Yer right about the ladies in Brownsville and Texas for that matter, but as the great Ed Bruce sang I live to love Texas women! Or better yet as Little Texas sang God blessed Texas with his own hand, droppin down angels from the Promised Land.   To beautiful women wherever they may be!Make a Toast [#toast]

Air RAid Sirens!

  LTCmdr's gathered in their masses
Just like witches at black masses
Evil minds that plot destruction
Sorcerers of deaths construction
In the fields the bodies burning
As the war machine keeps turning
Death and more rum to mankind
Poisoning their brainwashed minds, oh lord yeah!

Politicians hide themselves away
They only started the war
Why should they go out to fight?
They leave that role to the poor

Time will tell on their power minds
Making war just for fun
Treating people just like pawns in chess
Wait till their judgement day comes, yeah!

Now in darkness, world stops turning
Ashes where the bodies burning
No more war pigs have the power
Hand of God has sturck the hour
Day of judgement, God is calling
On their knees, the war pigs crawling
Begging mercy for their sins
Satan, laughing, spreads his wings
All right now!

Was in a Black Sabbath mood! AAARRRG!Pirate [oX)]

ABSOLUTELY BLOODY FANTASTIC PHOTOS CAG!!!!!!!! Bow [bow] The first lot I saw an old friend, "Little Jeanne" the P-40N. It was here in OZ before it graced your skies and I saw it at the 2005 Avalon Airshow. It was parked in an empty Hangar at the time down from where I worked when it wasn't performing, and it is an immaculate airplane. Thanks again for the pics!!!!!

Cheers, Richie

CAG... Shock [:O]Shock [:O]Shock [:O]  my jaw is still dragging on the floor.  Awesome pictures and thanks for sharing with the crew.  I may have to stow away in the XO's luggage when he makes that trip to Duxford.  (which considering my stature and girth would be a real challenge).
