Thanks Greg - I used the Silly Putty method for the camoflage. It works great and you can re-use the Silly Putty. The Prop and spinner went on last night. According to my sources this one will not have a fuselage band. The decal work should be not that hard. Have to slick her up with Future or Semi-gloss first.

Your 109 in RAF/Polish markings is great. I have seen this done once before in 1/72, but yours beats it, especially the scale of research you put into it.

Mike: Nice paint job !!! I am looking forward to see this one done. Feel sorry it will not be a Polish squadron Smile [:)]

Mine is sitting and waiting for some polishing stuff - in the meantime I slightly damaged an air intake Smile [:)] - what will delay this build even further.

Looks lke I am not the only one who has not has time to work on my project either. I been able to add some PE to my pit and that is about it. Work has been hectic and it seems I am always doing something. Ah well, be that as it may, I am hoping to get some work done here this week. I have worked with some PE before, but nothing like this Edward set. It isn't as easy as one would think!!! Even using tape to cut them on, I lost 2 levers out of my tweezers and bloody hell did the carpet monster get them! I also had to bow down in defeat to the body aging monster on Friday. I was getting severe headaches working on my models, and from reading, and on the PC, turns out I needed specticales for up close and hobbies. Having had better than 20/20 vision my whole life, it was an initial bummer, but turned out to be not as bad as I had thought they would be.

Anyway, I will post some more pics when I get some progress done.

Yes, that's what they're talking about in the book I am reading.  Quite shameful how they were treated. Disapprove [V]

I get back OK, much better this way Smile [:)]. I brought a new movie (Czeck) about Czeck pilots flying with RAF during the WWII. Pretty interesting story, practically identical with Polish stories I read. Aerial pictures are not so great as the original BoB but there is not enough airplanes any more. A pittyful story on how comunism regime dealt with heros when they came back to soviet occupied Czeckoslovakia (and Poland) after the war.

I just got back with a PE set for Hurricane Mk IIc. The set is made by PART and includes the canopy cage. Anybody used this set before ? I am curious how to make set it with a canopy "glass". On top of vaccum set ?

Awesome work as usuall Marc, really love the whitewashed look. Maybe a little more rubbed off around the door-flap thingy where they get in and out but apart from that spot on fella.

Tango, looking real sweet so far. Love the figure painting on old tin legs.

Thanks Marc,

its not much to look at right now as it still has a shed load of gloss coat on......but here is my Mk.I with its famous pilot Sqn.Ldr. Barder.......

I hope that once I get the little details and a nice dull coat done the overall look will improve. Still , this will give you guys a rough idea of where I'm going with this one!

Sign - Ditto [#ditto] That build turned out fantastic! The painting technique is top-notch indeed. Like I said before, it is probably the best I have seen to date.

Well done!

My Hurricane is all done.  Totally what if with some spare decals. I really wanted to try the finishing technique and have seen some all beat to crap Russians planes I figured why not this one. The build itself it 100% OOB.  I forgot top snap a pic of it but the “stupid joint” on the bottom didn’t turn out too bad.

Lucky for me, I have a note book that sits on my desk with lists. What models I have, what extras I would like for them -I research it and put down part numbers ect so they are close at hand. I also have a list of models I would like. She said she came down and wrote down what I needed and then went onto Sqaudron and ordered tham for me.

Like I said......I just sat there blubering like an idiot.........sorry, no sisters, just a brother....Disapprove [V] LOL
