Hello Glenn!

Thanks a lot for digging out this oldie (but hopefully, a goodie!).

By the way, if you want to tackle the AFV Club's M42 I heartly recommend it, it's a very good kit.

Have a nice day!

Hello everybody!

bitbite, stik, Bill, New Hampshire, f8sader, Lee - thank you so much for your kind words!

Karl - like fificat and Lee already mentioned, the opening in the hull botom is a special spent brass chute. Just goes to show, how heavily modified the Walker Bulldog chassis was for this vehicle.

The actual escape hatch is under the front compartment of the vehicle.

fificat - I didn't want to put ammo into the guns, as the fire selectors are in the "fire" position - one small bump on the road and the guns go off? Not on my shift :-) There are some clips handy, should something happen. I wanted to show the vehicle on the move from one position to another on the same base, this was often done after dark to confuse eventual mortar gunners looking for a nice target.

Thanks again for your comments, have a nice day

Hole  the bottom is for expelling used shells.

Pawel, everybody looks alert, like they are ready for everything.  BUT, I am missing the rounds in the guns' hoppers, and a clip of rounds in each loader's hands ready to rock and roll.  Once the guns start chattering, it is go-go-go.

the doog

!

One question--what's with the hole in the hull? Is that standard?

I'm supposin' that (escape hatch?) would make a handy hole to discard empty shells.

Hello everybody!

And it's finished now!! Last update left me with final assembly, the only details I added at the very end were cables running from the helmets to the intercom boxes to finish it off. I'm looking forward to your comments and thanks a lot for patiently staying onboard with me!

Hope you like it, thanks for reading and have a nice day!

Fine.  I challenge you to a cage match.  Pick your weapon.

Bill - thanks a lot! Some of them babies are so easy to do (rags made out of  tissue), that it would be a pity not to do it - you just have to look at the reference photos a lot to spot things like that.

bitbite - thanks! And man - have a little courage!

Thanks again, have a nice day
