                        You better believe it... Wink [;)] It is he only plane in the war that as far as I am concerned ended up getting replaced by a worse (looking) plane... the Helldiver is so ugly compared to my Douglas Slow But Deadly...

                        Awasoda-- how can I help you from the Aircraft forum side of things?? I can keep a list going there if you'd like...should I list the armor guys doing planes, or the plane guys doing armor? This could get confusing fast LOL

                        Bill has this uncanny ability to empty my bank account.
                        First he started that Model Expo stuff that ultimately landed the 1/16 Tiger in my lap.Wink [;)]
                        Now he mentions Dauntlesses. Hands down my favorite plane of all time. with PE to boot. I'm afraid, very afraid.

                        Good point, except that I am still working on scratchbuilding things for tanks, let alone things on plane!
                        Guess I have to come clean to. I have built planes in the past as well. Of cparse I think the last one was when I was about 12 though and I just lost intrest in them.

                        Hasagewa 1/48 Me 109 G10 oob
                        Hasagewa 1/72 TBM3 Avenger oob
                        Accurate Miniatures SBD-5 Dauntless w/Eduard PE, and Tom's PE (I even have a Waldron set for an SBD, but not considering that for this one!)

                        Decisions, decisions...I hate making decisions!

                        i look forward to it. should be a great build. with the 109 from revell you should have a decent time. the kit is moderate. mine had some major fit troubles around the wings. but the detail is good. i cant wait to see the camo.

                        OK, considering hubris as a personality trait and no gauntlet thrown doesn't deserve to be picked up, here's my project in this shindig.....

                        I have to disclose that I have built planes before...In my early teens when I was fascinated with Dauntlesses. That was the late 70's and the last I built anything before this year.

                        Yes-- they do make them...just don't get the piloted version-- it has a canopy. Might I suggest one of the Luftwaffe medium bombers?? They have small canopies Wink [;)]

                        Folk's,
                        These are the two I'm doing, there both resin conversions to excisting kits.

                        I've put my hand up with a couple of questions, regarding AFV's with resin conversions now, if I may sujest from what I've read in the last 5 pages, myself and one other are from OZ, a good 90% are in the Staes, OK we pool our knowleadge of our subjects and help those who seek the answers to their related subject. I build aircraft, mostly, I'm also a contract model maker, some of you have seen my posts, some have asked me for help regarding various finishes and techeniques in building or painting, there's guy's who do 'Wingy Thingy's' and there's guy's who do 'Ground Pounder's' I'll help anyone anytime anywhere with any model project.

                        Rob.

                        Has anybody done a head count as to how many have joined in.
