Thanks, but I'm really not all that happy with the B-17F... I made too many mistakes for me to be totally satisfied with it. then again, it was a fun build!

Hmmmm.... what scale and B-25 model variant are you wanting to build? I saw a 1/48 Revel/Monogram one in JMNs (top shelf, left side), and I know Accurate Miniatures makes another 1/48 offering (I'd love one of these myself!)... as for 1/72, Hasegawa makes a few.

Here's the aircraft Revell's kit is based on:

sweet! You can use some shiny aluminum foil on it too! Wink [;)]

beth, lani, meekai, and another gal
I was expecting you, especially meekai's cat. Smile [:)] You missed cbrain's Gerwalk. Makes me wanna dust off my fibly assembled, unpainted UN SPACY... hmmm...

Cbrain
It's the first time I see a 1/144, and well assembled and painted at that. Now you gave me an idea what to give my pamangkins on their birthdays. When I'm able to buy my airbrush, would you be kind to show me how to use them clay technique? Big Smile [:D]

Shonen
Di kita nakita, sayang. Disapprove [V] Would you be able to attend this 2nd Sunday of June's meeting? I wanna show you my M-10. Smile [:)]

Good Reggie! I'll have your IPMS Manila Business Card done when I get a chance to put it in the press. You'll need it when you are invited to attend their meetings.

How's the Harrier? Any luck yet?Big Smile [:D]

Mike J,

Thanks Sir Mike. Finally got the FS colors right thanks to Frank. Man...building an aircraft really is hard. So far i have lost two tiny pieces already.Disapprove [V] But it's really fun building this kit. While building this kit i have learned a lot about modeling. Like researching and..scratchbuilding. heheh. Because of the lost pieces.

I forgot, I must apologize to you guys for being out of this forum for such a long time. I havent got too much time on it. Too busy with work and can't just drop things. Gotta feed a family, you know... Send the pics when you're done. Lok at the egroup, we're also talking about techinque for chipping paint.

Hmmm... I'm sorely tempted, but I'm extremely out of shape, and all i have in the way of a battle dress is my old (and now, most likely, ill-fitting) ROTC uniform... I doubt sky blue blends well with urban backgrounds! Tongue [:P] I still dunno. You've got my attention though. Big Smile [:D]

Hehehe... looks like my ROTC uniform will once again be brought back to life arfter being dominant for 2 months.

Oh! And since a lot of you are braile scale builders check this out: (i found it in another thread)

Nice, huh? See the panel lines? What scale, you may ask? 1:72? No. 1:144? Wrong again. These two bad boys are in 1:350th scale... the panel lines were etched on to the plastic with a laser (no more needle tips, allan!)! Now i need to get me one of those! Big Smile [:D]

Hot daym! Where can I get that freakin' "L-A-S-E-R" (evil laugh)?

Not I and my puny F-86F... There were 3 F-86Fs and they put mine beside the winning entry... They were the same scale--heck, they were the same kit, but somehow, mine was a lot smaller! LOL Big Smile [:D]

Go for it, dwight! With any luck, we'll see that in the OOB Armor category this October... Whatddya think?!? Tongue [:P] The contest is so much more fun when you have an entry (i realized this during the BAC cup). It's just like how you would enjoy an Ateneo/LaSalle Basketball game more if you made a bet on one of the teams... or so i'm told... Whistling [:-^]

Personally, I don't asked for special discounts or deals with people or establishments that I do business with. It's one mark of being a good customer. Pretty soon, they'll be the one giving you the preferential treatment without you asking for it so that they can keep your business. And your going to be treated better than their regular customers. It's one thing to be frugal and thrifty , another to be a "barat" or "kuripot" (cheapskates).

I hope that I can build a jadg as good as yours. Thanks for sharing the pics.

Thanks Dwight! It's a Christmas 2003 gift from my (very tolerant) wife. I think she got it from STC Virramall. It's a DML kit. The figures are from Tristar. I still have to finish painting the loader figure. I won't be placing the commander figure anymore because it looks like he doesn't belong there. I just got myself some tubes of el cheapo Burnt Sienna water colors and I'll be trying them on the jagd. My wife always compares my work to Mauser's masterpieces and she consistently challenges me to do better. Might take me a long time though Wink [;)]
