Bish

...But seeing as those dates deffinatly count me out, i will just look in from afar.

Bish, where are you deploying to? Or are you a double-0, sworn to secrecy and addicted to martinis? Indifferent

If the wife said i couldn't take part, firstly i would want to know what she was doing in my house, and second i would stab the B***H. But seeing as those dates deffinatly count me out, i will just look in from afar.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

If it makes a difference, this Mojo will be following along since I've already donated some sweat and tears to this project. 229 is interesting and entertaining so it'll be neat to see what you fellows come up with.......not to mention the plane is interesting too Wink

oddman is a 229 Groupie!

I have no idea which kit/scale yet, but I am thinking "long range escort" with my build.

Manny,

I would join the build if I had not already built it this year. I wish I would have had those pictures you have when I built my kit. They provide a pretty detailed look at the A/C. Thanks for sharing them.

Alright, you pansies, looks like we have enough "229'rs" to get this show on the road.  Here is the list of participants I have so far:

Jester, Aaron, Gamera, Vance, Kermit, P38 and Konigwolf...plus myself, and that's 8 *MOJOs!  Cool...everyone else is a loser, especially Bish who keeps pretending he doesn't want to be in this GB when he really does...his wife just won't let him...

Okay, we have a badge (thanks to OddMan), we have 8 participants, and today is the first offical day of the build: 12-1-2010 thri 2-29-2011.  With 29 day extensions possible...

The only thing I need to know now is what you will be building...

*DISCLAIMER: the word used here is MOJO, not MO_O with an "F"...

Fantastic badge Oddman, how could anyone not want to join in this GB with a badge this awesome?

Off to beg my wife to let me join!*

Manstein's revenge

 hkshooter:

No.

Because Luft 46 stuff blows.

Yeah, you're right...fortunately the 229 is Luft '45 stuff and it doesn't blow...it actually flew...

I learned something. I never knew it actually flew, I thought it was only in protoype stage. Still, I'm kinda like Hans when it comes to prototypes. I can tell the GB is gonna be a hoot though. Jeff would be proud.

If I werent so overcommitted already I'd be in. It looks like an official GB now, but I do recall someone saying that it might be to broad of a subject. A possibility could be a WWII German Jet/Rocket GB. Open up to a few more subjects. I do not mean to offend anyone with this suggestion as I do find the 299 a very interesting plane.

Bish

Peresonally, i like the first one. But then as i am not in this GB and have totallty no intention of joining, i am not really here anyway.

Join the club. One minute I was innocently perusing the forums, the next I'm photoshopping some questionable group build badges for a build I won't even participate in. I don't even know why I was following this thread to begin with!
