Well I'd have to ask Darren if it's ok for a late comer!  Protocols must be followed out of respect for the FAA Vets!  But  I think I have got a few things that might fit the Bill!  You know last GB I did with darson I got this extreme infatuation with that Blonde? What was her name?

No charge.....like to help out whenever I can....Now lets see some zeke pics!!!

My Rufe is all but complete....had a bit of a mishap with the canopy. First the framing is really flat...almost flat...tough to mask...especially with a coat of future...i dont know if all the Zero kits are like that...Frank keep an eye out...

anyway..got it masked and painted a couple of days ago....was happy....as I was glueing down the trouble started....I was using the clear glue stuff and noticed it wasnt holding well...so I added a bit of liquid cement...figuered capillary action will get into the seam.. well I added a little more..then a little more well needless to say that capillary action works well!!!! the glue had seeped inbetween the open part and the rear screen...DOH....big glue spot on the side of the canopy which of course hazed it!! Censored [censored]Banged Head [banghead]...

even after cleaning it in windex the glue spot was there....I guess it eats thru the future...so I had to sand with polishing sticks...tell you I wasnt optimistic...I used finer grits..when I was "satisfied" eventhough there was still a fog on the plastic there was no glue spot  I said what the hell I will dip it in future again and hope for the best..meanwhile I dug thru my spares and found a backup...vacuform..HOW THE HELL DO YOU CUT THOSE THINGS OUT OF THE MOLD!!!! Banged Head [banghead]that was a failure...I did more damage with the blade than the glue did...now I know why i didnt become a surgeon!!

Anyway...pulled out the dipped sanded parts  out and WOW.....they were clear!!! There is still a bit of a haze...but hey "good enough for goverment work..." got to hand it to the future people..hell of a product...I should have the masking and painting done this weekend..will post some pics...

Carlos

Sorry about the long post but I had to vent...SoapBox [soapbox]

Suzanna York, you big Galoot (What the hell is a Galoot?, crazy Americans)

Carlos, if your dipping your canopies in future, use Super glue to attach. You only need a spot, it doesnt haze or fog a futured canopy, so its ideal Big boy.

Had a lil bench time tonight, got the pics you guys have seen before secured now and have mounted the engine. Am going to get the canopy finalised and trimmed then masked and mounted as well as fill the seams on the fuse to wing joints. You said you'd had therapy for that fixation!

Not a lot of progress on the Ki-44 as I've been playing on the darkside this week working on the Puma.

Well yeah sorta!   It was Court ordered after this last little incident with her. ( chuckle) Hows this for a blast from the past!  Hey Darren told me I had to watch that BOB movie every time I worked on my model to get into the mood! He drove me to it. Approve [^] I got a bunch of things to fit into this GB it should be cool!  Let me check out the 1st page and see what everyone is doing! Bow [bow]

I had no idea Sussanh York

was Superman's mother.... Why didn't someone tell me?

So any how I had to go find her and steal her away from this curious bloke?

So to really get on her good side I showed her my models. ( babe magnets) she was impressed!

I still needed a shower so she tagged along........

I think she got the wrong idea when I showed her my new compressor!

We spent all night looking for my lost hub cover think she got all tuckered out.

Anyways she liked the Models so much I can't get her to leave now?

AND after all this I still can't find my prop hub! ( You guys should never leave me alone with fresh coffee)Wink <img src=" border="0" width="15" height="15" />

My vote is for you to do a Jappo tank, Aaron. So few of those modelled and some crazy camo schemes to boot, Galoot.

Ive done a bit more on the corsair. Ive finished the U/C. Influenced very heavilly from the Frankster,

Id seen a pic of the arrestor hook with the stripes and guessed that they looked black (Probably wrong) LOL. I bought the paints today as well and as the fuse looks like this,

It must be close to painting time, Woo hoo.

Summit and Daywalker...good to see you both are still at it!  I still have the Corsair sitting on the bench just as it was when last I checked it....

Flew some RC this summer; I'm finishing the 6th gallon of nitro since June.

Keep up the fine work, guys!

I say go for the tank!  With one ship underway and another to build in January, some armor would be good for you.  Honest. Big Smile [:D]

It's that 1/350 Tamiya kit. HAs ore aircraft on board than she ever carried but I am not too picky. Has it's own little bits of PE too. Not much but I do have some IJN railings for her. Since it is a newer release the details are quite nice.

What kinda tank? Big one little one medium one? Maybe a Gun tractor?  LOL!  I'll come up with something cool!

Har Har! Don't you yell at me Mr Buddy!

Ok I have broken sprue!  Picked a random kit that looked cool for a warm up as Ritchie is right about my multiple kits for my many personalities! Evil [}:)]

Halloween is coming up! OOOOOOOOOOO

The paint box is the Pola's 1/350 box. How good are you fellows? Anyone care to venture a guess to what it may be?
