B-52 guys -

I came across a site with a technique to induce the correct wing droop to simulate a fully-fueled B-52 sitting on the ground. It's at: http://hsfeatures.com/b52had_1.htm. Under the Construction section, it describes a method to cut the top of the wings at specific intervals and insert styrene to spread the gaps and induce the droop. Sounds real good to me. I'm going to try it.

You guys are way beyond me,

I once found a subroutine break

for a game called Sword of Far Goal, a D&D

for Atari or Commadore, can't remember.

I found the subroutine for finding the sword about 20 levels down,

and I ran it for my friend, who was not amused.

it is as close to being Captain Kirk as I ever will get.

The last few years I have tried Bloons Tower Defense,

it is a flatlander game, like Pac Man on steroids.

It kills time faster than Gilligan's Island and I Dream of Genie

put together.....lol.....

Who knows, maybe Wii is coming out with a model kit ap,

so you don't have to actually build styrene kits....lol......

Jim: That cockpit looks fantastic!

Ken: Those seats are rocking! The handles you made are the finishing touch!

Mike: Interesting, I played that several years ago. I never got past the giant eyeball demon thingee and didn't finish the game. I'd been thinking about dusting off my copy and trying to finish it. I'll have to give the patch a look. Too bad they didn't stick around with Blizzard to do Diablo III, just finished it about a month ago, I mostly liked it but wasn't overwhelmed. Btw: the same guys did the Torchlight game, which is a fun little Diablo I like romp. Not that deep a game but it's cheap and worth what I paid for it.

Thanks Cliff for the comliments!

The game is Hellgate London.

Ive just installed the Revival 1.5b1 patch which amps everything in the game, bigger enemies etc.

Hi folks.  Does anyone have a set of instructions for the AMT X/YB-35 Flying Wing kit, that they could scan and email me?  Half of the sheets are missing from my kit here.

Doesnt help that ive just installed a fan made patch to one of my favourite games that opens it up to the way it should have been before the parent company behind it went bust.

Mikey;

Did you write the patch? I wish I knew how to do stuff like that these days...

Ken I have to tell you, your seats make my whole B58 look amateurish..  What would you want for a set of those handles?  I plan on doing another Phantom in the near future.

I hear you on that alright.

Sometimes I wish we didn't have computers,

ruined too many good hours tapping instead of carving,

sanding, or gluing.

Really the double-edged sword.

Gamera

I finally got a chance to read though everything ya'll posted over the weekend. Geeez Louise, I think there's more work and posting going on here than the rest of the GB combined.

Evidently Mike must have lit a fire under everyone's tush when he asked if anyone was building anything here! Stick out tongue

(Except me and my asbestos lined butt...)

Needless to say but still 'Great work guys!'

 The Motivator.

Oh yeah.....

BAM!!!!!

LOL....many thanks!

Tell you what, I have an extra Italari B-66B like the one on that Ebay listing.

I'll trade you for it, I'll send contact info PM.

Hey bud, no - I really don't need it and don't mind sending the B-29  to you. You don't need to sacrifice one of your own. Sorry, I meant the reply to sound humorous but maybe it didn't come off that way.

Thanks for the thought but please keep your kit.

That's too bad Rich.

I love the B-66B, and somehow ended up with one from Karen Lee Hobbies, branew.

That makes the two Italari left, and the Hasegawa Skywarrior you shipped for me.

It is a beauty, thanks.

Always liked the lines on that plane.

I bought an old Airfix B-29, in collectable condition,

and the MPC that Russ has is the same tooling,

I always wanted to build it as a Sunday project.

I like all of those raised rivets, looks like the Titanic....lol....

I wish I could have helped out but I had to sell both of my B66 kits due to an unexpected expense.  Didn't get half of what I hoped to for them either.
