I gotta check in here more often. There's some great stuff happenin in here. And as usual, the level of sanity has slipped just a little bit more.
Scott You're doing some outstanding work on that airfix, man. Don't give up! But, any thoughts of dropping it in a can, make it a mailbox instead. I'll give you my address and a postage paid box. I'd be glad to take it off your hands. You got most of the fiddly stuff done anyway.
Joe That is some of the finest work I've ever seen on an aircraft model. Just beautiful! You really nailed the detail of the open panels, the paint scheme, the weathering. Put that puppy in a sealed glass case and preserve it forever. It pays to take your time and sweat the details doesn't it? So, you're considering another 6 months huh? I MIGHT consider doing another one in that event. That is , IF the damn drama of life could just back off a weee bit. Amazing how a little legal matter with a family member can really put a damper on the important stuff, like model building.
Life ... it's that crap that happens when you walk away from the work bench.
But, as Clemens knows, the drama hasn't stopped me from chasing a B25 around my area's airports. I hope you can make use of those photos, Clemens. I'm still kicking myself for botching the flyover video but WOW, what an experience. That pilot damn near gave me a haircut when he buzzed the airfield. He barely cleared the wind sock.
Hang in there, all. Keep building!
Bill.
On the bench: Lindberg 1/32 scale 1934 Ford Coupe and a few rescue projects.
In queue: Tamiya 1/35 Quad Tractor or a scratch build project.
