Nice looking headless Bones! :-)
I agree, the shirt looks spot on.
Thanks for the update.
Steve
Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

Ok, I cemented Bones together last night. I'm still not totally happy with his hair so he's a little headless at the moment. Now I notice a smudge on his uniform just under Enterprise arrowhead, guess I put it there while painting the insignia, grumble. Hopefully I can get it fixed, finish the insignia, and get his hair done soonish...

Sorry Mach71. Bones is about 95% done but I'm at the point I keep wondering if I want to repaint his hair or pants or something and keep putting off just finishing him up.
I'm on vacation now but I'll see about finishing him up before the end of the year.
mach71 Ping Anyone have anything to post? I'm thinking of Starting another, the new PL small Romulan BOP.

Anyone have anything to post?
I'm thinking of Starting another, the new PL small Romulan BOP.
Soon...
Thanks Gam,
Steve, she looks awesome in her 'natural environment'!
I've got to pick up one of these one day, kinda an embaressment that the Romulans are my favorite bad guys but I've never built this kit.
OK guys, here it is, complete. Thank you for following this through all it ups and downs.
Offended? Good gosh no! I sometimes get my words twisted up, just making sure I came off the right way.
No idea about the Bussard Collectors, it's been years since I saw the episode. Guess there are plenty of photos online though. I'm thinking the ones in Star Trek Online are green but don't remember either, the game is set a couple years after DS9 and these relics are pretty much clay pidgeons for the player to shoot down
GameraSteve as I said I love how she turned out.
Steve as I said I love how she turned out.
Guess I didn't express myself very well, weathering this model makes perfect sense.
Thanks guys,
Gam, I weathered it because it atmospheric as well. Plus, it was boring without it.
She looks great Steve! I sometimes wonder about 'weather' in space but I love what you've done, big improvement on what would be a rather bland kit from the top. Like your planet base too. And the lighting is perfect.
Big kudos sir!!!
That looks real nice!
I really like what you did with the stand.
Great job with a kit that threw you some curves!
Here it is, done. I will take some diffrent pictures tomorrow night with a black background.
Your BOP is looking really nice! The decals went on great and the lights are excellent!
Hey Steve, these decals look perfect! Good luck with the weathering, you're almost done now!
Ouch, that does blow! I thought their decals were supposed to be good quality...
That sucks. Good luck modelcrazy.
I received some AM decals I orders from Federation Models. The shipping was a little steep, but I received them in what seems like 2 days.
I’ll continue working on the BoP this weekend.
Looking good!
I started on 'Bones' hair last night. Sorry I wish the lighting was better:
It does look very nice!
The R2 decals are weak and shatter. I managed to get mine on, but in a few places the imperfections are visable. I think R2 is good about replacemets and I forget who offers the aftermarket decals.
Good luck!
EDIT:

JTGrafics has them. $18
Looks cool Steve. I guess there are aftermarket decals if you need them, they're probably better quality than the packaged AMT ones.
OK dog gone it, I can't find my decals. I may have to talk to AMT.
But here it is for now.
