After a fabulous week of fishing in Canada, I finally completed my entry in the GB. This is Tamiya's Dornier. This kit is typical Tamiya quality, and would recommend it to anyone who hasn't built one. I know...it's an awkward looking thing...down-rite homely, but it in the end, she grew on me, and now i like it. This aircraft, although never flown in combat, had many state of the art features which made some interesting reading. Pretty cool stuff.

Anyhoo......I hope you guys like the build.

Jerry that is one beautiful well built looking model you have there. Always liked that bird despite its unusual lines. Great fob on the shading. Thanks for the look Thumbs Up [tup]

Marc not sure but I think radial sounds something like Bbllllrrrrroouuubb!!!!

The Fort is looking great...radial should be done deep in the back of the throat, with a bit of a warble...

You're right, but the cockpit looks even better the 2nd time around. The sublte highlighting (drybrushing) is really effective.

I'm still sanding the cockpit area of my Ford. Got a little carried away with it and popped the wing off. Now that I've gotten that taken care of I just have to finish sanding the new putty smooth. She'll be heading for the paint shop towards the end of the week.

Well, looking at the Calendar, better get my butt in gear if I'm going to finish by the end date. Here's some progress pics on the cockpit interior of the 1/32 Hasegawa Frank. A lot of detail for an OOTB build. Painted mostly with Vallejo acrylics.
