QUOTE: and by then who knows if i'll still have the drive/time to model at all

Mate if you start to lose the drive just go and have a look at the splendid collection of models that you've built and that should restore it pretty quicklyThumbs Up [tup]
Either that or we could send "Kremps' over to force it back into youThumbs Up [tup]

On second thoughts I don't know what I'll be building. Maybe a vignettes of Kremps when she participated in operation market-garden.

Rick, that would be cool!Cool [8D]

Tom, Dont mention cabbage mate, that stuff does some horendous things to my anatomy.
It may taste good the first time, but it aint to flash on the second time aroundWink [;)]Wink [;)]Dead [xx(]

Tanky I think for your vignette you will need some aftermarket stuff, like 4lbs of epoxy to even get close to the curves Kremps has.Kisses [:X]

You'll also need a few packets of that fake grass used for dioramas to simulate her back hair as well. You'd have to dye it black first (unless you want to depict her when she was in her "punk" phase during the late 70's. Leave it green in that case). Big Smile [:D]

Jules- naw.. that was more early 80's when she did that... in the 70's she was in her 'love child' phase... she burned her bra and wore a brightly colored mumu with flowers on it...

Tanky - you could also do a dio of her storming Berlin... She made it in 2 days before the Soviets. That's why the German troops were so scare and in disarray when they finally got there...

::Sigh:: a vignette of Kremps.. this boy is going places!!! (like room 43b at Happy Acres!)

See the large loaders hatch at the rear of the turret?

They put that in so the rest of the crew could get out when, not if, Kremps got stuck in the turret, after all she's a husky lady!

Karl - Laugh [(-D]Laugh [(-D]Laugh [(-D] good one! I was under the impression they strapped her to the exterior as armor. She could absorb a 76mm and not even know it hit her!

Tanky - better be sure you have a whole tupe of putty... it would take that much to add to the bulk of the figure!

Well I haven't had a chance to catch up with the insanity chatter yet, but I have added everybody to a list on page 1.

Well it's 11:58 and it's time for bed.

Fernando do I take it that you are interested in joining this little group? I am just taking down the names of those who may be interested at the moment so if you change your mind that's cool.

All start date for the build hasn't been decided yet, but I am thinking of 1st Dec 2005 through to 8th May 2006 (VE Day). How does this sound to everyone?
Also, I'll come up with some rules for the build on page 1, but basically it is open to all combatants (including the Russians of course) involved in the fight for Germany land, air or sea.

Rick there certainly will be a Battle of Britain GB in 2006. At the moment I am thinking of posting the build in April with a start date of 1 May 2006, so that it runs pretty much back to back with this.

Cheers
