Haven't seen that video yet Jules.......Is it a good as her honeymoon video? I here that one's pretty hot......(for those who don't know, she was married to the famous Sumo wrestler Takahashi Mitsutomokari for a while during the '80's. It ended when Tweets came on the scene in '87).

Angry [:(!]
Hey, there is no proof it was my fault!!
Purely coincidental.

They were going through a bad patch, and she just wanted someone to consol her.

Besides, Jules knew her before I did.
I've seen the Burma video, he was ALWAYS in the background, lurking, waiting to strike I reckonEvil [}:)]

Tom,

As I'm justing getting to know the "Divine Ms K", did she ever have any professional acting video roles?

I could swear this was her, but I only met her for an instance in the corner bar so I might be wrong.....

Well Pingy, you were right.............60 pages of Kremp talk before the build startsThumbs Up [tup]

BTW and Forgive me for going off Topic but i went out and bought the Italeria 1/35 Panzer V Panther today, i already have the Dragon Panther but i don't think that i'll be able to handle those individual link tracks that came with the kit.........
The good thing is that the Italeria Panther is molded with the zimmeret already on and to top it off i found an Aber PE set at the LHS for the Panther, i may have a go at that for this GB as wellThumbs Up [tup]
OH yeah i double checked just to make sure and the panther in 1/35 is "KREMPS" approved so i'm officially allowed to build itThumbs Up [tup]

Sounds good Jules.....I'm thinking of doing something similar for this GB. Never done any armour, so it should be interesting.

This Kremps legend just keeps getting more and more complicated doesn't it? She's had alot of experiences in her long (some might say too long....) but colourful (some would say way too colourful) life. Maybe she should write a book..........

GBs are easy wing_nut, just post a message saying your interested, like you just did. The moderator (Darren) will put your name on the front page. Then you just have to decide on any model that fits the build topic, in this case soemthing that falls into the period from around D-day? to the end of the war in Europe. It can be German or Allied as Darren mentioned on the first page.

BTW Darren, wasn't VE day May 8, not April 8?Confused [%-)]Smile [:)]

Congratulations JB you are the only one to have passed my cunning observance test Whistling [:-^]

Marc (wing_nut) no problemo's I'll put you down on the list on page 1. As for what is a group build, well JB pretty much summed it up really. It's just a bunch of modelers getting together to build to a common theme. Along the way we swap ideas, shoot the breeze, post photos of progress on your build, etc, etc... One thing though, skill level does NOT matter, this is not a competition, it's just for fun.

Cheers

Didn't take you fellas long to corrupt poor wing_nut did it....... Now he is babbling incoherently (big word alert!!!), next thing we know, he'll be in room 4b recieving electro-shock treatment from Kremps.

BTW, don't tell Kremps, but I'm running a GB at the moment that wasn't pre-approved by her. Don't wanna think about what would happen if she found out. Whistling [:-^]

Oh oh Tom, now you did it, gotta go google that website!Evil [}:)]

BTW wing_nut, Tom means the city, not the person Wink [;)]. Now if you can correctly spell (and pronounce) the province it is in, you get an extra helping of pudding! Shock [:O] But just don't ask Dave, he's a traitor to the poor prairie peoples! He's now living the 'High' life in lotus land on the side of a mountain! I think it is the Vernon branch of happy acres. Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg]

The Happy Acres Group Build got started the instant anyone previously, currently or considering Kremps "care" gets together with another like minded lost soul...Tuesday was Sloppy Joe's but in an effort to soften things I heard Pudding was to be the treat d'jour...Then again Kremps is a master of the swerve...when we sit down tonight it could be stewed spinach with a Limberger sauce !!! With Kremps serving in a Hooters uniform...Yum Yum says the bear !

Hmm, a late-war German GB. I'm more than likely in this one. Choice of subject is fairly vast, so no clue what I'd build right now.

I'm not sure that being approved of by Kremps is a good thing.

And isn't milking the yak a euphamism for something else? Shock [:O]

Welcome to the GB Wing_nut.

Jules The indy track thing isn't so bad, but the Dragon ones need a lot of clean up, you'd be better off going with Friulmdelisimo(sic) or Model Kasten. The ones on my Semovente have been a doddle, and look a million times better than the kit tracks.

Think I might be taking a similar route and going for an AFV almost certainly German and named after a cat! With maybe an aircraft thrown in.

Karl

Currently on the bench: AZ Models 1/72 Mig 17PF

Jay Almost slipped that one by me! Angry [:(!] I am having a hard time keeping up with the chatter these days as I am scambling to complete a real estate deal and plan for the move in 3 weeks. Don't worry though, I can still spell Saskactg... Saskatew... Siskath... Oh crap!!! Black Eye [B)] Doesn't Kremps have relatives there somewhere?

Joe Nice badge, I'm in as soon as Kremps gives her seal of approval to the Vernon branch. Big Smile [:D]

I've been pondering the same... I have the 1/35 DML King tiger and it's been since 1989 since I have done a pice of armor... I think it is nigh time to commit to one again! But I think I will take Karls advice and look at AM tracks...

We should call this one the topsy-turvy group build. Everyone who usually builds aircraft seems to be planning a piece of armour for this GB. I don't know what to think.......

NOOO, I'll stick with aircraft thank you very much. Debating between the Dragon 1/48 Me-163B-1a or the Revell 1/32 He-162A-2 . Maybe do both Smile [:)].

Jules you have incoming (snail) mail, enjoy Big Smile [:D]. Remember next time, paying for postage is not permitted.

Tom it wouldn't be a GB without big K now would it. That and the fact that we are not actually building anything at the moment, she gives people something to talk about.

Ryan (archangel571) welcome to the build.

Zoran (zokissima) welcome to the build as well, but one point to note, this is not just a German GB. It's open to both allied and axis entries.

Me personally I am tossing up between doing a late model hard edge camo Tiger II or DML's upcoming M4A3E8. Also, the new DML Tiger II (with Fallschirmjaeger figures) comes with the new "Magic Tracks". Anybody know what these clip together tracks are like?

Cheers
Darren
