The In My Stash GB

Same here, I've got the monogram P-61 that has been giving me problems. Hopefully I will finish it soon. After that I've got the tamiya Porsche 911GT to finish. I plan to do some building on my schnellboot soon. But my compliments to the good job that everyone is doing.

Hey guys, I don't think I've been here for about a month. Eek. Before starting my IMS build, I decided to get everything else off my workbench.

The first thing I have is the RM F-106. I'm so close to finishing this. Sadly, the kit is so awful that after the final painting, the 2 seams where the top and bottom fuselage halves meet cracked. I decided not to fix it because I would most likely smash the darned thing rather than doing any good. I've got most of the decalling done with just a bit left.

After that I've got 2 more small kits to put to rest (too badly built to put much more detailing time into) and then I can start my Humvee!!!

Hiya guys. the Tamiya kit is amazing and I am still slapping myself for even thinking about giving it back.

I guess tamiya wanted to cut a few corners and save money on tooling by molding slots and holes for motorized gear into the bottom... I was hoping I could stay away from the filler this build... That also leaves some gaps where the bottom and top hull halves join.

I was thinking about doing a camo, but now I am leaning more towards just armor sand, because this is my first serious 1/35 armor. last one was Academy M-36 assembled with tubeglue... *scalps self at the thought of ruining such a good kit*

Had the flu which turned to pnemonia so i was out of it for the past week.  Still kinda sick so i'm staying aqay from the fumes for a bit longer.  Should start on the B-25 in earnest this weekend

My turret is almost done     I had to do some surgery though, and my references were few.....       I'll keep away from the suspension for now, as it drives me nuts!!!

Still gotta figure something for the fitting of the rear panel.........

i was thinking of doing both arki but the F16 is the tamiya 1/32 scale CJ block 50 which is pretty big in itself but you never know may try to do both :)

hey guys well i finished up my Military Veterans GB /forums/753736/ShowPost.aspx#753736 . now the question is do i battle the rest of you for the turtle (procrastination award) and finish up my F16 build which i am wy past the deadline on or start this which we have a few months to go on:)

both models are yelling at me the last time i heard them talk was when i got them now they both seem very angry. what to do what to do ?

I had that happen to me just tonight. I went in to my LHS to get some paint, and I heard the 'voice' not 30 seconds after I walked into the shop. It started quietly at first, but as I neared the shelves, the voice got louder.  Then, as I walked by it, it almost shouted at me.  Then again, the 3" red 50% sticker on the blue Revell of Germany box only made it even more noticible.  Mighty fine 1/48 European Fighter that was found.  I was so 'moved' by my experience that I almost forgot the reason I went in the shop to begin with.  Funny thing, I think I heard singing as I walked out to my truck to go home.......  and I can't sing..........

I bow down to wing_nut not only has he finished this GB in record time but i was checking out the aircraft forum and he is building a P-51D in 1/144th scale with a cockpit you all have to check it out .
