Bish, yes the larger images look great, and I did not notice any effect on load page time.

Oh, was meaning to ask what colour you use for the bombs?

I have changed all the finished 190 pics to a larger size. The ones with white background are one size, and the 2 with blue are larger sizes again, the last one being the biggest. Please let me know which you prefer. I am not sure if useing the larger images slows down page loading for people with slower internet speeds. But it would be nice to post larger pics. I have not thougt about people who click on the images just the size they appear on the page. But it seems a lot of people liek to look at the larger image, so i will start doing that from now on.

And thanks for the feedback.

Bish

I certainl;y can post l;arger images. I upload them to Flickr quite large, 1280 or so. But then i load them here in about 640 so as not to over load it. But i can add some larger ones no problem. I might consider that in the future, adding a couple of bigger ones at the end of the post.

As I mentioned in the GB thread , this is a very excellent build.

I too would like to see some  larger images.  I believe the way this site is set up for hand held devices, images are imbedded to a standard size so as to not 'tax' the system.  Anything larger is linked directly to the poster's picture host site, opening that in a new tab.

regards,

Jack

Thanks for the feedback.

Bish,

Your work is always something I try to take the time to look at .. it's usually model building at its best. The FW is certainly no exception.

I hope you don't take this in any way other than how it's intended .. I'd love to see a larger image when I click on the one's you've posted in your threads. Is it that you choose not to upload larger images to your image hosting site, or doesn't that site allow larger images,.. or? I'm just keen on viewing your beautiful finished builds closer up if you get what I mean.

Looking forward to the next four.

Thanks Mike, its much appreciated.

Nicely done!  The blue background really highlights the model.

Thanks Greg.

This is only my 4th 32nd kit, the 3rd this year. They do take up a lot of space, which is why i only have  small collection of them. But i do like having the larger detailed kit along with the smaller scale ones.

Came out great, Bish. Exterior finish looks masterful.

Makes me wonder about getting off my backside and starting a 1/32nd airplane. As was just mentioned, you provide good incentive.

You mean in general or this project.

The former, its my AS90. On this project it will be 2 more Ju 87G-2's, one in 48th and one in 144. And added to this wil be a 1/10th resin bust and a 1/32nd metal figure.

Got this wrapped up a couple of days ago with the adition of the spinner. I do like these spiral masks, much better than decals.

So here are the final pics.

And i decided to try out a different coloured background which came with the photo set up i got last month. Unfortunaly the different cloths only cover the back and botom, but just wanted to see what the blue looks like.

And there is it, stage 2 complete. 6 down, 4 to go. I am really pleased with the 190, less trouble than the 32nd Ju 87 and i think it turned out as the better build.

And here is one shot of the 6 builds completed so far. And no, the shelf is not wonky, as least not that much. I must have been standing lop sided when i took this.

Thanks to all who have been following along. I have 3 builds to do before getting to the 3rd and final stage, which should be around mid March.

For now, all comments are welcome as always.

How in the world did I miss this all year???

What an ambitious project, and you're really sticking with it, Bish. Some truly great work going on here.

It's fun to see you building the bigger scales, too.

Rambo
Me too, I always like to have my models on a small base with at least one figure to show scale and tell a little story.

On smaller scale aircraft i usually do a diorama, so helps give an idea of scale. But on the larger ones i have tended not to. But i have been thinking about adding a figure or piece of groiund equipment on future builds. I like adding the base as it means i don't have to handle the model plus i can add a small bit of info about it.
