Never give up Traveller... I see Horton's go fairly cheap on eBay all the time.
I too have problems with building even simple kits. I had/have a Cerebral Aneurysm which they had to coil because of it's location. The short of it is that I have a ball of metal wire of a size between that of a really large Aggie marble and a ping pong ball in my head. It bounces around and does all sorts of bad things to me. And when they were putting it in, i had a series of Mini Strokes which left me with shaky hands, messed up coordination, a weak left side and a lot of pain which will never go away.
I started modeling again as a kind of therapy. It has helped me recover some of my former coordination and dexterity. And since I can no longer work, or do much of anything else, it keeps me from going stark raving bonkers, sitting here i an old beat up mobile home all day with nothing to do. I refuse to let my impairment force me to stop doing something I love, no matter how bad a kit comes out, I always know that it is better than the last one (usually), even if only a little. And it's like I am learning the skills I once had, all over again.
I don't know what makes you have problems with builds, but you can't let it beat you. Get another kit and go for it man. I'd be in this build too because I think the Horton is probably the coolest aircraft to come out of WWII, but I keep getting sniped on eBay lol.. Don't quit on it, or you will be quitting on yourself. And that's not something anyone should do.
