Alex I'm sure your tiger will be fine, Darren will welcome you shortly... that is if Kremps lets him out of the "special" room anytime soon. Wink [;)]

Well Kremps and I have been spending "quality" time together in the special room Blush [:I] but I need a rest (the women’s a machine), so she's let me out for a while to do some posting.

Alex, welcome to build it's nice to have you along for the ride. I'll look forward to seeing your late Kitty.

Bob those are a couple of great photos, hmmm $400 for a ride eh, well I can't say that I wouldn't have been tempted that's for sure.

Jules my pleasure on the sig Thumbs Up [tup]

Sean, I dunno about Jules but I always stick to MM enamel RAF Interior Green (2062) for all my RAF/Commonwealth interiors. For the exterior camo on British aircraft I stick with Humbrol enamels.

Rick those are a couple of fine kits you've chosen there I can't to see them. Also it looks like we are going to have quite a swag of 1/32 kits in this build which should be cool.

Dave one of these days I'm got to do that Hase Lanc, but I'm taking the wimp option and wait for some pre-cut masks are released for it.

Darren

Sean for all the interiors on any allied WWII fighter i always use Gunze H 58, it says on the bottle that it is for US army/ navy A/C of WWII and it does appear to be a little dark out of the bottle so for Spits i normally lighten it about 10% with white.....

Sean - Jules' formula should be right on... the RAF interior green was a shade lighter than the US shade... if you have a local supply of hobby paint available the RAF green shouldn't be too hard to get... otherwise Jules' solution should work like a charm!

Tweets - I knew the postage system in the NT was bad, but it's pretty ordinary when you have to wait a few days for your emails to arrive. Big Smile [:D]

Tell me about it!!!
Aussie Post used to send emails on 2 camels in case one died.Dead [xx(]

I guess cost cutting forced 'em back to 1.

And don't get me started on the phone system.
If we want an extra phone line on my place, they charge $300 bucks extra for more wet string and an extra tin can!!!![:0]

I could do it myself for $10, but then it wouldn't be up to codeTongue [:P]

Sean you have snail mail inbound (the decals). They are in an envelope from a well known Private Health Insurance company, so don't ditch them thinking its junk mail Smile [:)].

Tom that picture is a belter isn't it? Oh and I still have no feeling in my legs after that session with Kremps

Cheers

Nick don't sweat it mate, your family and your education always take priority over a hobby. Anyway you haven't missed much and we've still got five weeks till kick off.

Good to hear your Iwata finally made it Sean, so can we be expecting to see some more far out camo schemes from your end now you have the new weapon[?}

And yeah i've been doing more than play with the 4000, it's already finished the camo scheme on my Midway Zero and after that came out OK i got a little more adventurous and have been doing some freehand on my NA GB suprise build....IMHO it's a cool little A/B and i reckon it sprays a slightly finer line than my 175 does but i'm still having a problem with my air pressure, it constantly kreeps up on me because i don't have a regulator and i wind up spraying at 25psi which can make it a little difficult to do freehand........
BTW did i spell adventurous correctlyQuestion [?] honestly my spelling is getting terrible.....

Jules I'm really curious about this surprise build you've got going on there.
And don't mind Tom, he loves surprises, but not when there attached to a 400lb German national with bad breath and a tacky tropical tanWink [;)]

And as for that airbrush, I'm glad it's doing good things for you.
The 4000 is a pretty good all rounder, knocked out quite a few kits with that one, and the other 4000 I have here.
And now that I've got the HP-BS, which I have to admit after a little more playing today is a fantastic airbrush, I pulled the finest line tonight, and I reckon the next squiggle camo job is WELL within reach this time.

Anyway Jules, keep the brush mate, call it a belated birthday present.
I don't need three brushes as I've only got 2 hands, and my toes are to stubby to hold a brushTongue [:P]

OK, I think I wanna change my build from the Tamiya 1/72 p-47 to the revell 1/72 ju-290. One big beast that.

Jeez Sean i can't just keep an airbrush, these things arn't cheap ya know.....Mate Don't bother sending that MO for the SQD stuff, I mean it if you send it i'll cash it and send it straight back to you, and even then i'll still owe you one....

Thanks very much for your oustanding generosity mate i can't express how much i appreciate it but i have to admit i'm wearing a pretty big and goofy grin right nowThumbs Up [tup]Blush [:I]Big Smile [:D]Approve [^]Tongue [:P]give me a couple of weeks and i'll be able to show you what i've done with the 4000Thumbs Up [tup]Thumbs Up [tup]

Your more than welcome Jules, I know it's gone to a good homeApprove [^]
I think I have a spare needle kicking round here somewhere, if I find it I'll send it your way too.

I think you would cash the MO and send it back, so I'll come up with a devious plan to make up my shareEvil [}:)]

The Iwata is something else though, and when I can spare a week or two without it I'll send it over so you can have a play.
This is a fantastic brush, and the quick disconnects I got with it are so cool it's freakyAlien [alien].

Back to modeling, seeing as we have a LONG time till this one starts, can we plan any start dates for the next NA and BoB GB's??
Not to mention the next Aussie/ANZAC GB.

Seriously though Sean I think an Airbrush more than makes up your shareThumbs Up [tup]

I'm glad your happy with your new Iwata it sounds really cool and i'm looking forward to seeing some of those freaky camo schemes that i'm sure you have planned and i wouldn't mind at all having a crack at it for a couple of weeks but you just wait and see what i've done with your 4000 on my suprise buildWink [;)]Tongue [:P]

As for the next Aussie GB i don't know whether South Aussie is planning anything and i havn't heard from him in a while but i was hopeing for another Australia day start and a 6 month time limit....
I can't speak for Darren and what he is planning for the next BoB GB but i think he mentioned a back to back start with the BoG GB.....
But the next NA GB i'll post up on the 1st of july and run it until Xmas.....
